I DID IT! :) One step closer.
Can I just say that I am sooooo relieved? I am...I am sooooo relieved. sigh.
I would also like to say that I love my nurse, Joan. She is my RN at the fertility office. I love her. I mean, I really think I do. I've determined that my favorite type of people are the ones that make me laugh so hard one minute, and then can hug me when I need it the next. She is one of those people. We literally laugh hysterically sometimes. We have a lot of vagina jokes...and in the next minute, she is telling me she is going to be another grandma to my future children. I love her.
When I went in today she explained everything to me. She also helped me make fun of David and his fear of needles. :) Then she asked me about my shots and how they had gone. I told her I hated her because she made me do it. I asked her how she knows the needle makes it to my muscle, to which she responded:
Joan: I know it makes it because the needle is an inch and a half.
Me: Ya, but it has to go through a LOT of fat. Are you sure it makes it?
Joan: GIRL...you don't know what a fat butt looks like. We're talking WIDE LOAD...inches of fat...that's when I worry...when you gotta back that wide load up...that's when I wonder if the needle will make it. You're good.
Me & David: (laughing hysterially)
Joan: I'll let you know if you make it there.
It was even funnier in person.
So, next I am lying on the bed, spread eagle, and we are making vagina jokes. I am now laughing hysterically. I am crying, I am laughing so hard. So, hard that I have to ask her if it's making her job hard. I don't really know what she is doing down there, but I am laughing, and so is she. And then out of nowhere, she tells me I am gonna hate her for a second. I tell David to move closer so he is in punching range. She then says "get a sperm sample before you kill him, we don't have any in the freezer!" AND THEN....INTENSE PAIN...for like 60 seconds. I said Holy S***, and then dropped the F bomb 5 times. Although, I drew out the last f bomb quite a bit. Sounds like quite a bit of cussing, but it was warranted. And if you know me, 6 bad words isn't too bad for me. :)
Then they showed me what they ripped from my uterus...my uterine lining. It was so gross.
Then I just had relax for like 10 minutes until the cramping subsided...and I was good to go.
Now we wait...we wait for the results...fingers crossed for good news...
